How bad will a tanning bed make my tattoos fade?

I want to know how bad tanning in a tanning bed will make my tattoos fade. My tattoos are black and grey. I am using Coppertone SPF 50 on my tattoos while tanning.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

It causes fading, just like regular sunlight. I am heavily tattooed, I have a full back piece and I tan regularly... 1-2x a week. I know as long as I protect my tattoos with some kind of lotion, they will be fine. The key is to wait at least 3 weeks after getting a tattoo to go into the tanning bed. I am also a tattooist and everyone is always yelling at me, but, I've been doing it for so long now, and my colors in my tattoos are fine! I'm not going to be a hermit and stay out of the sunlight because of my tattoos. That's craziness!!! I LOVE being out in the sun and I visit tropical islands at least twice a year. So, ultimately do what you want to do, just keep protecting your ink work.

What is the future of Body Piercing in teens?

What might happen? What do you think should happen? What laws ned to be written to prevent this and why? How will body piercing affect people?

As of today, i think within the next few years teen's with and wanting body piercings will increase, a lot. Even a few years ago, when i was in 7th grade there were girls getting belly button piercings and such, at 11 and 12 years old! So, i think teens will keep getting body piercings and wanting them at younger and younger ages. I personally like body piercings, but i think there should be a law that no teenagers should be allowed to get piercings as well as tattoo's, even with parental consent, unless they're 14, or maybe even 15 years old. I think that's the appropriate age.
